Our MISSION
The Mission of FIRELIFE CHURCH is the same mission Jesus gave his followers: Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
Our Passion is to glorify God by loving and serving Him and by reaching out to others with the love of Jesus Christ. We seek to create a welcoming community where people can come together to worship and grow in their faith in Christ.
Our Values are rooted in the teachings of the Bible, and we strive to live out these values in our daily lives. We are committed to supporting each other in our spiritual journeys, and to serving our local and global communities through acts of compassion, justice, and mercy.

Our HISTORY
HOW IT ALL STARTED...
The history of this growing Church, formerly known as, "Holding Out Hope," is a testament to the power of faith and community. Founded by Pastors Richard and Diane Anderson with just a handful of members, The church has steadily grown over the years, attracting new congregants and expanding its reach, especially in the field of Media.
THE CTN NEW YORK - 2000
THE CHRISTIAN TELEVISION NETWORK OF NEW YORK
The Holding Out Hope Church was birthed as a result of the success of the Christian Television Network of New York, which Pastors Richard and Diane Anderson launched across Long Island on the Cablevision System, on Fathers Day, June 18, 2000.

THE HOLDING OUT HOPE CHURCH
While hosting a highly successful daily broadcast known as "Holding Out Hope" which featured their preaching and musical gifts, their ministry resonated so powerfully with viewers that it ultimately led to the launching of the Church on February 2, 2003.
Our
Church has always been a Media driven ministry with a mission to reach the lost, broken and sin sick, as well as empowering the Body of Christ through the powerful medium of both Television and Radio.
HOPE RADIO - 2008
HOPE RADIO
On April 8, 2007,
the
Church launched the first FM Christian Radio station, HOPE RADIO, across Long Island. It ran until November 2018, when
we
handed the reigns over to National
Christian Radio Broadcaster,
KLOVE.
For the last 22 years, our Church has been home to a growing and diverse multicultural congregation, ministering to the lives of the people of Long Island with God's message of Hope. New Paragraph

What We Believe
"If we would preach Sinners to Christ, we must preach Christ to Sinners."
We believe that the Bible is the inspired and authoritative Word of God.
It is the infallible and inerrant
revelation of God's will and contains everything necessary for faith and practice.
Through the Bible, God speaks to us and reveals His character, His plan of salvation, and His instructions for living.
We believe in the universal church,
which is the body of Christ composed of
all believers from all over the world and across time and space.
The church is called to worship and
glorify God, to proclaim the Gospel,
to nurture and disciple believers, and to serve the world with love and compassion.
CORE BELIEFS
The following are the core beliefs of
FIRELIFE Church is based on the foundational truths taught in the bible.
All of our teaching and ministry is rooted in,
and flows out of these biblical doctrines.
God
There is one eternally existing God who has three distinct persons: God the Father,
God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
He is the creator of all that exists,
both visible and invisible, and is therefore
worthy of all glory and praise.
God is perfect in love,
power, holiness, goodness, knowledge,
wisdom, justice, and mercy.
He is unchangeable and therefore is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow.
Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ is true God and true man,
having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary.
He died on the cross,
the complete and final sacrifice for our sins according to the Scriptures.
Further, He arose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, where,
at the right hand of the Majesty on High,
He is now our High Priest and Advocate.
The Holy Spirit
The ministry of the Holy Spirit
is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ and
during this age, to convict men of sin, regenerate the believing sinner,
indwell, guide, instruct, and empower the believer for godly living and service.
Man was created in the image of God
but fell into sin and is therefore lost,
and only through regeneration
by the Holy Spirit can salvation and
spiritual life be obtained.
We believe that the Holy Spirit
distributes Gifts as He wills to
every believer to operate in and
to fulfill their God given purpose.
Revelation
God has revealed Himself
to us through His son, Jesus Christ,
who is the visible image of the invisible God,
the Holy scriptures, and through
all of creation itself.
Worship
God is a Spirit
and we are to worship Him
in Spirit and in Truth.
Where the Spirit of the Lord is,
there is Liberty, Healing, Peace and Joy!
We celebrate God's presence and seek to minister to Him through our unrestrained expression of worship.
It is our ultimate desire to Magnify
and Exalt His Name in our lives and service.
In His presence,
lives are eternally and radically transformed.
Mankind
Humans, both male and female,
were created in God's image for His glory.
The first humans, Adam and Eve,
were created without sin and appointed
as caretakers of the rest of God's creations.
The Fall
When Adam and Eve
chose not to obey God, they ceased
to be what they were made to be
and became distorted images of God.
This caused them to fall out of
fellowship with God and
fractured all of creation ever since that time.
Salvation
Jesus Christ came
to reconcile us with God.
He lived a life without sin and willingly died
on the cross to pay the penalty for
our transgressions.
God raised him from the dead,
and now, by grace, offers as a free gift,
eternal life to all who follow Christ,
by faith, as their Lord and Savior.
That is why salvation
can be found in Christ alone.
The Church
The Church is meant to be
the visible body of Christ, sent into
the world to glorify God and
proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Resurrection
Jesus Christ is returning one day
to judge both the living and the dead
and to usher in the fullness of
God's Kingdom on earth.
